1. What does Workbrain do?

Workbrain is focused on employees; whether it is our own or our customer’s. We develop, maintain and implement workforce management software for large companies around the world. We help companies to better manage their workforces through the automation of processes such as time and attendance, labour management, forecasting and scheduling and workforce analytics. This helps companies to become more efficient and more cost effective resulting in increased profitability. We work with customers in various industries including retail, transportation, law enforcement, manufacturing, healthcare and financial services.

3. Where does Workbrain post its available job opportunities?

All of our job opportunities are posted online at www.workbraincareers.com. Individuals with greater then 2 years of work experience should refer to the Experienced Professional link, new graduates with less then 2 years of work experience should refer to the New Graduates link.

Co-op/Internship opportunities are also posted on campus through various university co-op/internship programs. Some schools may require you to apply through your co-op/internship office in addition to applying directly through Workbrain’s website. Please check with your school to ensure you follow their recruitment process.

4. How do I apply to work at Workbrain?

To view a list of the current open positions at Workbrain please visit the Workbrain Careers website at www.workbraincareers.com. Choose the appropriate section (experienced professionals or new graduates) to view the open positions. You can then sort by department, city, country or posting date. Click the apply button in the lower right-hand corner of the job description(s) you are interested in. You will then be directed to create a profile and submit a copy of your resume.

5. What kind of training will I receive?

You will have the opportunity to develop your skill set by taking relevant courses, both internally and externally. New hires participate in a bootcamp training session that focuses on the functional and technical aspects of the product, the Workbrain corporate culture and various other skills required to be successful at Workbrain. There are various other product courses offered throughout the year. In addition, each department has a budget set aside to send employees to relevant external training courses.

Although formal courses are vital, we also firmly believe that the best way to learn is through on the job experience, experimentation and mentorship. From the moment you step through the door you will be surrounded by people who will want you to succeed and who will assist you with your learning process.

6. When and how will I be evaluated?

Feedback will be plentiful and in real-time. If you need coaching in a particular area, or if you are exceeding expectations, your teammates will certainly let you know about it quickly. A formal performance review is conducted twice a year.

7. When do you recruit for student positions?

Recruitment for co-op/internship positions usually takes place in September, January and May. We recommend you check with your school co-op/internship office directly.
